Marie-Monique Mnigat is a Haitian activist, educator, and psychotherapist. Having lived and worked in the US, Haiti and Zimbabwe, Monique is fluent in French, English and Haitian Creole. After having taught all levels from pre-K to adults, written and managed educational programs for public, private and the international sector, Monique became a clinical social worker and began working with individual, couples and families seeking to address issues or improve quality of life, relationships and communication. Monique also works with institutions on staff wellbeing, efficiency, communications and collaboration. As an activist, Monique has worked with US based grassroots organizations and is currently in Haiti a member of ANVA and leading One Billion Rising Ayiti events. As OBR Ayiti chair, Monique leads community events and workshops around women’s rights, education related to gender roles, violence against women and girls, and the reciprocal societal impacts. Stéphanie Loiseau is a Psychologist, born and raised in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. She has a master's degree in clinical psychology. She practices nationally and internationally. She is a member of the Haitian Association of Psychology (Ahpsy) and a member of Toastmasters International/ Club Toastmaster Flamboyant in Haiti.


Thamarah Crevecoeur practices  full scope midwifery at Boston Medical Center in Boston, MA. Her patients are close to her heart, as they are mostly  immigrants from Haiti and the other Carribean islands. In addition to  practicing midwifery, Ms Crevecoeur is also a part time Doctorate of  Public Health (DrPH) student at the Boston University School of Public  Health. Her doctoral research is looking at the risks, benefits and  feasibility of providing more culturally and language specific maternity  services at Boston Medical Center as a method to address the current  disparities in maternal health. She truly believes  in the concept of exceptional care without exception, for all women. She  is FAHM's Board Vice President.
