LODZ JOSEPH-lemon

Lodz Joseph-Lemon has a long standing career focused on Maternal and Child Health, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Justice and Health Disparities. She holds a Masters of Nursing with a specialty in Midwifery from Columbia University and has worked in East Africa and the Caribbean, managing health programs for a number of organizations. She is a midwife in Tucson, Arizona at a Federally Qualified Health Center. She is an advisory member of the inaugural Karen Edlund Fellowship from Nurses for Sexual and Reproductive Health. She has presented at the American College of Nurse Midwives, American Public Health Association, Nurses for Sexual and Reproductive Health and been on panels addressing reproductive justice and rural health. She is a first-generation Haitian-American and a native New Yorker.
